“I have a childhood doctor whom I use to consult twice or thrice in a year. I use to visit the same doctor every year because of my illness, it continue till I was 16 year old. I left my home town (Manipur) to pursue my higher studies, after 3 years I went to consult the same doctor during my semester break. Me and my father knows him very well and when we started talking about my past medical history with all the health advice given by him, he started wondering on what we were sharing him. He couldn’t remember anything and I couldn’t reproduce my medical records/reports too. He was a familiar doctor to me and I was a stranger, a new patient for him”

Some more stories…
“No
any hospital keeps/maintains patient health record! Develop a software to solve
this challenge” says one of the doctor.
“Patient’s
sometimes ask whether they can go inside for consultation without filling up
their form in registration counter, when the queues are long.” says one of the OPD staff.
“We
thought higher the price of a software, the more it will solve our
requirements, which came out to be wrong. We prefer a software which will solve
the current challenges we are facing and that too at cheap and reasonable price”
says one of the doctor.
“During
emergency we find it difficult to get all the details of the patient! We wish
we could have at least few details about the patient like blood group, name,
age and their health history” says one of the doctor in emergency room.
“Even
though the cost of the software is high, we thought all our needs and
requirements will be solved after implementing it! We could not use all the
entire modules of the current software and are using only a part of it, our
requirements are also not totally fulfilled” says one of a hospital management
executive.
“We
ask the patient party to fill a form which is available on our registration
counter. After which they submit the filled registration form to me, I will
enter their details in my computer and print the form. The whole process takes
around 7 to 10 minutes but when the queues are long it takes more than that”
says one of the medical transcriptionist.
